Dr. Kat, a San Jose native, began her dental journey volunteering at underserved dental clinics, where she experienced firsthand the profound impact oral health disparities have on individuals’ quality of life. While earning her degree in Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, she also honed her creative talents as a graphic designer. Recognizing parallels between graphic design and tooth restoration, she sought a more impactful way to combine her artistic skills with meaningful patient care.

Inspired by dentistry’s power to transform lives, Dr. Kat pursued her Doctor of Dental Medicine at Midwestern University in Arizona. She further advanced her expertise in restorative, prosthetic, pediatric, and cosmetic/digital dentistry through specialized practice experience in Scottsdale.

Dr. Kat takes pride in seamlessly integrating her artistic abilities into daily dental procedures, focusing on enhancing patient comfort and education. She believes every patient deserves a beautiful, healthy smile–and if nature hasn’t provided one, she’s ready to create it with her unique blend of skill and artistry.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Kat has a passion for art in many forms–from painting to crafting extravagant charcuterie boards. She also enjoys fitness, traveling, and exploring diverse culinary experiences. Dedicated to continuous growth, Dr. Kat regularly participates in dental courses, ensuring she remains at the forefront of dental innovation and technology.
